ENERGIE is a European Interreg Greece–Italy project testing an integrated urban regeneration model aimed at reducing environmental impact in Brindisi, Matera and Aigialeia, Greece.
The project connects institutions, local stakeholders, communities and international talent through co-design processes focused on the sustainability challenges of the three territories. This pathway is complemented by a Reskilling Academy developing skills for climate-positive urban regeneration and by Move to Planet BE, the talent-attraction campaign and residency programme.
The ideas developed throughout the process are then tested through pilot projects, turning co-design and new skills into concrete interventions and models that can be transferred to other territories.
Brindisi is the main hub for the talent residency and one of the project’s three pilot territories.
The project is led by ARTI – Regional Agency for Technology, Technology Transfer and Innovation of Puglia. Fondazione Just B is the partner responsible for the Move to Planet BE campaign and talent-attraction activities.
